PUM program
Dutch assistance: consulting from managers and professionals, training and internships, search for partners in the Netherlands.
The Dutch program PUM (Experienced experts from the Netherlands, www.pum.nl) offers you free assistance from Dutch mangers and professionals. “PUM” is a non-profit organization, funded by the Government and Dutch Union of Entrepreneurs.
The goal that “PUM” has is to help Ukrainian small and medium companies in their development, pass on the experience of European business, engage in business relations with Dutch firms and thus encourage creating new jobs in Ukraine.
“PUM” sends Dutch experts to provide consulting to Ukrainian companies, initiate changes in business culture, help to define “problem areas” in companies and suggest possible solutions. Every year “PUM” provides its services to an average number of 200 Ukrainian companies.
Any private company may turn to “PUM” if they meet the following requirements:
(à) Number of employees - 10 to 1000;
(b) Track history – not less than 2 years
(c) Annual balance – not more than €43mln;
(d) Annual turnover – not more than €50mln;
(e) Share of foreign investments – not more than 49%.
“PUM” covers expert’s travel to working place and health insurance (expert may stay from 7 days to 3 months, number of orders from one company - unlimited), whereas the hosts cover expenses locally (accommodation and food, local transportation and translation (mainly Russian-English)). Starting with the 6th visit besides already mentioned terms the host company is to pay 700 Euro for sending one expert. Companies with conditions other than mentioned above receive assistance on commercial terms.
In addition to consulting “PUM” experts organize internships for Ukrainian managers and professionals in similar companies in Holland (cost of the service is 700 Euro) and provide assistance in finding partners and holding negotiations with them in Holland (cost of the service is 700 Euro). In this case “PUM” covers traveling, medical insurance and accommodation in Holland. To receive “PUM” assistance you need to make a request, fill out application form and send it via email.
We also provide assistance in finding Dutch suppliers of equipment, including agricultural equipment, breed animals and birds which don’t deal with long-term operation of the delivered equipment, keeping and levels of productivity of animals and birds, the yield of seeds etc. We fill this gap for Ukrainian companies through Dutch managers and practitioners who spent their life designing, producing, processing, constructing, growing, feeding, milking, selling etc.
